Today marks day 227 of my 2025-365 Photography Challenge. It felt wonderful to be back at Thunder Stadium, capturing some football action. This season is always special to me as Football is just starting up. The Thundering Herd faced off against Granite Bay in a scrimmage to get both teams ready for the upcoming season. It was a heartfelt return for the players, coaches, and the numerous fans of Thundering Herd Football. Coach Matt Costa had been a JV Football Coach alongside his father, Mike, for many years. Unfortunately, Matt passed away a few weeks back. I believe Matt would have wanted the game of Football to continue. It was heartwarming to see the Herd Family come together tonight to celebrate the sport we cherish. Matt, you are deeply loved and missed. We all pay tribute to the incredible Husband, Father, Coach, Uncle, Son, Brother, and Friend that you were.
