Day 155 of my 2025-365 photography challenge. Nice little self portrait while I was pulled over today. For the past 8 years I have tried to help a fellow Marine who I was stationed with 30 years ago. His life has disintegrated.with his actions. Today, I’m done. His car registration has been expired for two years.. While driving his car today I made sure he had a full tank of gas, a clean car water and some food to help him out on his next step. I was pulled over due to the car registration. I explained to the police officers that I was only helping one of my veteran friends to get him help. I was able to get Craig to the veterans Hospital today so he can get the help he needs. Today ends more than eight years that myself my wife and my kids have been through while we’ve tried to help Craig. We have to be careful of who we let in our lives and how we help them. I have learned a valuable lesson over these past few years. I love each and everyone of my Marine Corps brothers and sisters. But there is an extent of how much we can help one another. Craig, this version of our relationship is over. I hope you get the help you need and someday we can reconnect and stay friends..
